This Privacy Policy explains how PeptivaLabs ("PeptivaLabs," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use peptivalabsus.com or place an order. By using our website or services, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

Information you provide

• Account information: name, email address, password, shipping address.
• Order information: products purchased, quantities, prices, payment metadata (note: full payment card details are processed by our payment processor — see Section 5 — and are not stored on PeptivaLabs servers).
• Communications: emails, support tickets, contact-form submissions.
• Researcher attestations: confirmation of age (21+), researcher status, and intended in-vitro use.

Information collected automatically

• Browser type, device type, IP address, referrer URL.
• Site usage analytics: pages visited, time on site, click events.
• Cookies (see Section 6).

• To process and fulfill your orders, including shipping coordination with FedEx.
• To deliver Certificates of Analysis and authentication records associated with your specific order.
• To respond to your questions, support requests, and feedback.
• To send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notifications, COA delivery).
• To send research-roundup newsletters if you have opted in (you may unsubscribe at any time).
• To improve the website, our content, and our products.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary to operate the business:

• Payment processors: to process card transactions securely.
• Shipping carriers (FedEx): to deliver your orders.
• Authentication partner (Authentichain, authentichain.io): to record per-batch authentication metadata on a public blockchain. Note: information recorded with Authentichain is intentionally public-readable (it is the audit trail), but it does not contain personal identifying information about you — only batch metadata.
• Email service provider: to deliver transactional and newsletter emails.
• Analytics providers: to understand site usage. We do not share individual personal data with analytics — only aggregated, anonymized usage information.
• Legal authorities: when compelled by law, subpoena, or court order.

Full credit card and bank account information is processed directly by our payment processor and is not stored on PeptivaLabs servers. We retain only the order metadata (amount, date, last four digits of payment method) needed for order management and customer support.

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your account and cart, analyze site usage, and improve user experience. You can disable cookies through your browser settings; some site features (such as cart persistence) may not function without them.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to operate the business and comply with legal obligations. Order records, COA records, and authentication records are retained indefinitely as part of our supply-chain audit trail. Newsletter subscriptions remain on file until you unsubscribe.
