The full PeptivaLabs quality assurance pipeline — testing methodology, batch documentation, supply chain integrity, and the principles that make every vial in our catalog research-grade.

Quality is not a feature. It is the entire premise. A research compound that arrives without a verifiable Certificate of Analysis is not a research compound — it is something with a label. Every standard below is what makes the difference.
Every product in our 23-peptide catalog is manufactured domestically in the United States, in compliance with WHO Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. Domestic manufacturing is not a marketing line — it is what makes per-batch quality control possible. Controlled, documented, cold-chain manufacturing close to the customer means we own the supply chain from synthesis to packaging to ship.
Practical implications: shorter lead times, full regulatory traceability, end-to-end documentation, and the ability to recall or correct any specific batch if needed.
Every batch of peptide we sell is independently tested by a third-party laboratory using two complementary analytical techniques:
High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
HPLC quantifies what fraction of the sample is the target peptide. We test at 214 nm (the wavelength absorbed by peptide bonds) using reverse-phase HPLC with C18 column chemistry. The result is reported as Area Under Curve percentage — the actual purity figure that appears on every COA.
Mass Spectrometry (MS)
Mass spectrometry confirms the molecular identity of the target peptide — verifying that the dominant species in the sample matches the labeled compound's theoretical molecular weight. Both techniques together give a complete identity-and-purity characterization. One without the other is incomplete.
Every batch in our catalog ships with a per-batch Certificate of Analysis (COA), published in our public COA Library and indexed by lot number. Every COA contains:
COAs are visible before purchase, at peptivalabsus.com/coa-library, indexed by lot number printed on the vial label.
Every PeptivaLabs vial ships with an NFC-encoded blockchain authentication tag, issued through our independent supply-chain authentication partner Authentichain. The tag is bonded to the vial label and cannot be peeled, reused, or cloned.
When a researcher taps the vial with a smartphone, the verification page reads the NFC serial number, queries the blockchain for the batch record associated with that serial, and displays the on-chain data alongside the manufacturer's metadata. The on-chain record is held by Authentichain — independent of PeptivaLabs. We cannot retroactively change a batch record. The audit trail is auditable by any third party.
For a full walkthrough, see our NFC + Blockchain Verification page.
Every shipment is packed for temperature stability and ships via FedEx 2-Day. Ice packs are available on request at no charge for cold-chain-sensitive compounds. Recommended storage conditions for each peptide are listed on the product detail page; lyophilized peptides are typically stable at −20 °C long-term and at room temperature for short-term shipping windows.
For peptides with literature variants — for example, full-length Tβ4 versus the TB-500 fragment — our COAs explicitly disclose the specific sequence in the vial. Researchers can match their material directly to the published literature without ambiguity.
